Fully immersive and interactive displays for first major exhibition on AI

For AI: More than Human, the first exhibition of its kind to explore the convergence of creativity and scientific advancements in artificial intelligence, we were commissioned by The Barbican Centre to design five major interactive installations for the show.

Dezeen Magazine writes that AI: More than Human dives deep into AI, taking a wide-ranging approach with immersive and interactive displays.

The Timeline

We led on the media and interaction design for the show, including five central interactive installations: a ten-meter-long timeline showcasing AI’s history, a display featuring DeepMind’s AlphaGo defeating Lee Sedol in the game of Go, and interactive games illustrating AI’s role in regulating online comments.

Jigsaw

We created motion graphics, animations, video edits, interactive displays and bespoke installations, including one of the show’s closing pieces: a documentary about the role of AI in the future of space exploration that was projected on a large scale circular screen.

We continue to support the show as it tours
the world, updating it with new language translations for its interactive apps and videos and supplying up-to-date documentation for global audiences.
